Top 10 favorite films!

Movies or TV shows? I’d go for movies, maybe i am just not the kind who can follow up to drama series or whatever you call that. Aha but Emily sure can follow up! If you wanna know what’s the latest/hottest show on TV right now, u can probably go to her:)

OK! I’ve listed out my top ten films! Films that has made me cried, laughed or has inspired me!  Do tell me your faves! Who knows your list of movies might be interesting for me to check out too!

I was introduced to Gran Torino late 2010 and I’ve to say it was one of the greatest movie I’ve seen that year!


DEAD ALIVE  aka BrainDead

Directed by Peter Jackson

I love zombies, any kinds.  My mom was the one who made me watched this when i was about 7  and i absolutely love it! It was disgustingly gory enough and there was a dark humor in there. Now it’s pretty hard to get a copy of that DVD! Damn!



Directed by Ridley Scott, Starring Josh Harnett, Eric Bana and Ewan Mcgregor.

BHD won 2002 Academy Award for Best Editing, Best Sound and also won Golden Reel Award from the motion picture sound editors.

I am crazy over War Films! Especially this! It’s intense, realistic and the graphic war violence? POWER! Not to mention, Eric Bana my favorite actor of all time!



Directed by Sean Ellis, starring Michelle Ryan, Sean Biggerstaff, Emilia Fox.

Best European Short Film Festival (Grand Prix)

This film is charming and oh is full of nudity too.  You will understand what i mean after watching it.



Directed by Bryan Singer, starring Tom Cruise, Kenneth Branagh and Bill Nighy.

Based on actual events , a plot to assassinate Hitler! Wow any movies that involve HITLER? I will watch. Plus Tom Cruise played really well in this character.



Directed by Tom Shadyac, starring Jim Carrey.

Jim Carrey was nominated for MTV Movie Awards, in the category of Best Comedic Performance for “Liar Liar

To me, best comedic film from Jim Carrey. This film keeps me laughing throughout!



Directed by Richard Curtis, starring Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson,Emma Thompson & many more..

I am not a big fan of Love/Romantic Films but if I’ve to choose one, this is it, Love actually is funny, sweet and lots of romance. Plus i really dig the soundtrack to this film!



Directed by Robert Zemeckis, starring Tom Hanks.

The Academy Award winner for Best Picture, Best Director Robert Zemeckis, and Best Actor Tom Hanks.

A triumphant performance by Hanks!

A story of a slow-witted but good- hearted man. Very inspiring and heartwarming!



Directed by Franco de Pena, starring Anna Cieslak, Dominique Pinon, Jale Arikan & Elizabeth Bruck.

A 2005 Luxembourgish film.

A melodrama film about white slave trade.



Directed by Steven Spielberg, starring Eric Bana, Daniel Craig, Ciaran Hinds.

Munich (2005) is a fictionalized account of real events following the brutal murder of the Israeli Olympic team at the 1972 Munich Olympics. And how can i not watch this film when Eric Bana is in it!

Not forgetting that this film received good reviews and was nominated for 5 Academy awards!!

this film is extremely violent and not suitable for children or the sensitive.


Well as u can see my top 10 are mostly actions or war films:)
