The Boys.

Korean power girl group Girls Generation aka SNSD (an acronym for their Korean name So-Nyeo-Shi-Dae, 소녀시대) is out with a brand new album and boy, have these girls grown up. Starting out as a basic outfit with minimum props and costumes, every chart topping single has seen increasingly meticulous sets and costume styling. The Boys however, puts the icing on the cake.

As if the intricate design on each CD box and CD doesn’t already make it lust worthy (albeit not actually caring for the contents, which honestly, isn’t that bad), they launched a whole campaign with a dedicated blog, free app and incredible amounts of ‘leaks’, special items and sneak previews. Of course, all with the same beautiful and painfully exquisite artwork and fashion styling, and that’s what we’re looking into today.

Not only have the girls freshened up their individual images with new hairstyles, they’ve taken to establishing individual personalities with a myriad of styles. The promotional pictures (below) is an invocation of every fashion stylists’ fantasy and every single picture seems to tell a different fairytale story. It’s almost like looking at a “How To Wear (insert color, outfit or style) In 9 Ways” guide. Now let’s just have that idea attack you in full glory with their video instead.

That’s only the English version, and they’ve already got 5 different outfit changes EACH. This album is definitely going to make every girl feel like going through their own makeover sessions with endless cash lined pockets. If you’ve got the app on your phones or iPads, you would have already ogled at the amazing styling for each girl, but if you haven’t, pictures are below. Word of caution; don’t blame us if you develop an urge to shop! – Share the love, Emily L.
